Pirperis_Revisions

For the first project, I changed the text box to a black background, still slightly transparent, but enough to maintain readability. I also switched the type color to white and changed the font as well. I thought the points of the "A's" resembled mountains. I aligned the two paragraphs on the left to align with the same height as the paragraphs on the right. I also added a fade to the top of the text box so there wasn't such a harsh line separating the text box from the picture.

For the second project, I felt everything else of the layout was working except that first paragraph. There wasn't anything drawing the reader's eyes to begin reading there after reading the title. So I added a raised cap to the first paragraph so the reader's eyes began there, rather than skipping it and moving on to the second subtitle.

For the last project, there was not much breathing space between the dark blue diagonal shape in the back with the first text box. So I made the text box a bit more narrow and extended the diagonal shape. I also cropped the photo and elongated it to align with the first paragraph to create more of a connection. I made sure to keep enough breathing room between the photo and the first paragraph as well. I also made the quote bold rather than the name because the quote is more important than the guy.

  1. Eleni – nice reworked layouts. All 3 are quite successful. My only comment is the same one I gave you in class about the iPhone layout holding too much “left over” space to the right of the Public Health section. Could the list be 2 columns? Could there be an additional element there?
