fernandes newsletter after some revisions

  1. Elvis – I think the changes you have made to the inside have made this layout better. It is less complicated, but more easily readable. Some thoughts about the covers:

    Masthead: The subtitle “Central Asia Institute Campaign for Spring 2016” seems to sit too close to the larger words above it. And there appears to be plenty of space below… so move that text block down a bit. Do you intend for that whole section to be the subtitle, or should there be even more negative space above “Campaign…”? That’s what I think you intend… but currently we see a leading inconsistency and read it as one. So… maybe you ought to move “Campaign for Spring 2016” down even further.

    I think the Mission heading should sit on 2 lines, not 3 – Why not bring “Mission” up to sit next to “Institute”? This will allow you to increase the text wrap around the figure, which it could use.

    Back cover – done!
