Cinelli Design Brief

  1. Elizabeth – I asked you about your audience during your presentation, and it didn’t seem like you knew much about them. I encourage you to do some research about this group so that your design decisions will attract them to your design. Also – college students in general tend to be a group of young people just starting to look up and around the world, and might be interested in getting involved in something like this. However, I do not think that Economic majors are also “data driven” – and will be used to seeing data reports, with no nonsense fonts involved.

So, this is why I question your script font in the masthead. If you want to choose a font that has ethnic origins – great, however this isn’t a font that would be in that category. I encourage you to continue to keep looking for the right font(s) for the masthead. Take a look at what these economic majors are reading for their economic courses.

Your colors are quite good for this group – who will eventually be working for large corporations (the ones that get their dream jobs).

Photos – the only photo that doesn’t seem to belong to your family of photos is at the top right of the group… it has a yellow color caste, not in keeping with the rest.
